Surf's up! Mentalist heartthrob Simon Baker makes a splash on a trip Down Under

The Mentalist star Simon Baker has taken time off solving crimes for carefree trip to his native Australia. 

The 42-year-old actor was spotted enjoying the sun and surf on a beach visit in Sydney.

The star, who is on holiday with his family, also broke out the surfboard for a little surfing.

Given that his rippling muscles were clearly visible through his red Rip Curl shirt and his blue swimming trunks melded to his body, it isn't hard to see why the star is considered to be a heartthrob.

The lucky woman in his life is Rebecca Rigg, his wife of thirteen years.

The 43-year-old Australian actress, who has also appeared on The Mentalist, kept a close watch on the couple's three children while Simon indulged in some exercise.

Even after twenty odd years together, the couple seem to be more in love than ever.

They are parents to 18-year-old daughter Stella Breeze, 13-year-old son Claude Blue and 10-year-old Harry Friday.

Two famous fellow Aussie actresses act as godparents to the kids: Nicole Kidman is Harry's godmother, while her best friend, Naomi Watts, is Claude's godmother.

Simon has appeared on the CBS series The Mentalist since 2008.

He has been nominated for an Emmy, a Golden Globe and a Screen Actors Guild award for his work on the show.
